Qualification and experience

• MBBS or equivalent medical qualification from an institute or a university recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission and FCPS or MS or FRCS or MRCP or MD or Diplomat of American Board in the respective specialty or equivalent medical qualification in the respective specialty from an institute or university recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission . If none is available with above qualifications then: MBBS or equivalent medical qualification from an institute or university recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission and FCPS or MS or FRCS or MRCP or MD or Diplomat American Board (General Surgery or Medicine, whichever is relevant to the respective specialty) or equivalent medical qualification from an institute or university recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission with three years' post-graduation practical experience in the respective specialty from a recognized institute.
• Only Practical Experience in recognized institution issued by the appointing authority/PMDC/PMC after the prescribed qualification (mentioning clearly designation, Pay Scale, Field, nature of experience and duration) shall be considered. (Experience certificates shall be accepted only if it is supported with appointment Letters/Notification/Office Order). ii) Experience gained in Government Sector in respect of Contract, Current Charge, Acting Charge and on Ad-hoc basis will only be accepted, if the same is issued by the Appointing/Competent Authority/PMDC/PMC. iii) Experience gained on OPS/Designated basis (up to 17.06.2021, only), BOM (Board of Management), TTS (Tenure Track System/ Status), University Cadre, etc., shall only be considered, if the same is recognized and issued by PMDC/PMC.In such cases candidate shall provide his total experience from PMDC/PMC. Separate Experience Certificate issued by Appointing Authority and PMDC/PMC will not be consolidated for eligibility. iv) Experience gained from Foreign/Autonomous body/ Private institution shall only be accepted, if the same is recognized and issued by PMDC/PMC.
